Northolt Jet Centre PPS presented a cheque for £3,000, to RAF Northolt, sponsoring one of the many attractions at the RAF annual charity event ‘Families Day’ taking place on Saturday 9 April 2007. During this great day the RAF personnel and their families raise money for RAF Northolt’s chosen charities.
Darren Grover, Head of Aviation for London City Airport, is delighted to have the opportunity to support such a worth while event: “We host a very similar event at London City Airport, known as the Fun Day. Community events are a great way to say thank you and I’ve been told that the RAF Families Day is hugely successful, I’m glad that we’re involved and supporting it.”
The Northolt Jet Centre PPS team will be there on the day to meet RAF personnel and their families, giving them an insight into what they do.
Gordon Pendelton, Senior Air Traffic Control Officer, at RAF Northolt said: “The RAF Northolt Families Day Committee are delighted that the Northolt Jet Centre PPS have supported our event so generously. Their sponsorship will help ensure that, after a year of operational commitments overseas for many of our RAF Northolt personnel, families can enjoy a full afternoon of events together, including a funfair, musical entertainment and an assortment of static displays.”
Northolt Jet Centre PPS was launched in July 2006, as an extension of the London City Airport Jet Centre, which today holds a worldwide reputation for quality handling of corporate aircraft.
Adding Northolt Jet Centre PPS has enabled London City Airport to enhance its London operation and tailor it’s corporate passenger handling. Passengers travelling to the West End from Northolt will enjoy the location benefits that passengers currently enjoy travelling via the London City Airport Jet Centre to central London.
