Strasbourg Joins CityJet for Air France into London City Airport

Air France has further enhanced its CityJet for Air France network from London City Airport, with the announcement that Strasbourg will be linked to the heart of London three times daily from 28 October.

CityJet for Air France already offers the largest network from the conveniently located London City Airport and Strasbourg becomes the tenth destination served from London with convenient business-friendly CityJet for Air France flights.

Christine Ourmières, General Manager AIR FRANCE KLM UK & Ireland said, “By connecting the heart of the EU to the heart of London this service is further demonstration of our commitment to offering the best network out of London City Airport.”

Flights will operate three times daily from Monday to Friday with a reduced service at weekends. Departures from London City at 07.05, 11.50 and 16.05, and return flights from Strasbourg at 10.45, 16.00 and 19.10, will make life easier for business people, MEPs and civil servants travelling to European Parliament sittings, as well as holidaymakers drawn to explore the history, landscape and wines of the Alsace region.

Geoffrey O’Byrne White, Chief Executive of CityJet said, “We look forward to welcoming passengers onboard to experience the CityJet for Air France product. Strasbourg is a welcome addition to our network and we are confident that this route will be a success.”

Return fares from London City to Strasbourg start at £98.00 including taxes per person

The flights will be operated by 31-seater Dornier 328 aircraft offering a comfortable two-class service.

All passengers travelling on the route, and on the whole CityJet for Air France network, have the opportunity to check in online at www.airfrance.co.uk and to join the AIR FRANCE KLM loyalty programme Flying Blue.

The current twice daily service from Gatwick will end on 27 October and passengers with bookings after this date will be accommodated on the new London City service.
