London City Airport announced today (5 November) the appointment of Scott Stanley with immediate effect as Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to Richard Gooding, Chief Executive Officer, Scott will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the airport, including the implementation of the planned capital investment programme.
Scott joins London City from Global Infrastructure Partners; he holds a BS degree in Engineering from Ohio State University, and his career embraces General Motors, General Electric, Honeywell and United Technologies. His career highlights include, Operations Management, for GE, Supply Chain restructuring in Europe for Honeywell, as well as new plant start-up in Mexico and China supply chain restructuring for United Technologies.
