Premier PA celebrates one year anniversary

London City Airport’s Premier PA Club - the elite club for Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants and Secretaries – celebrated its one year anniversary at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, earlier this week, attended by over 100 PAs.

To mark the occasion guest speaker Hala El-Shafie, expert nutritionist and registered dietician, headlined the event presenting on the need to understand and address the symptoms of stress. Members enjoyed complimentary mini-manicures and tips on the latest beauty trends. Prizes for competition entries included a luxury trip to Cornwall for four, by private jet, for lunch at award winning restaurant Fifteen Cornwall, courtesy of PrivateFly.

Tricia Handley, Marketing Director for London City Airport said: “We are delighted with the success of Premier PA which has seen its membership more than double since its launch.  Members have enjoyed a range of monthly activities that encourage professional and personal development along with inspection trips to destinations served by the airport - creating loyalty and awareness of our product offering.”

Premier PA, sponsored by London City Airport, offers members access to a range of professional development tools to improve their knowledge, productivity and efficiency in their workplace. To register for the Premier PA Club visit http://premierpa.lcy.co.uk

Editors note

London City Airport (LCY) is the only airport situated in London itself, just two miles from the site of the 2012 Olympic Games, three miles from Canary Wharf, seven miles from the City and 10 miles from London’s West End – linked to all via the LCY Docklands Light Railway station. Welcoming over 3 million passengers in 2011, LCY is not only uniquely convenient, but offers a uniquely rapid transit, through check-in and security to the departure lounge and gate, of around 20 minutes. 12 airlines fly out of LCY, serving over 40 destinations including Dublin, Madrid and Geneva – the latest additions for 2012 are Aberdeen, Venice, Basel, Mahon, Angers and Quimper. LCY is on Twitter (@londoncityairport) and further information about flights, destinations and airport services can be found at www.londoncityairport.com.
