SkyWork Airlines triumphs at British-Swiss Business Awards

SkyWork Airlines of Bern, Switzerland was named ‘Company of the Year 2012’ at this year’s prestigious British-Swiss Business Awards during a ceremony held at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva last week.

SkyWork Airlines was praised for its contribution to business success in Britain and Switzerland by the distinguished panel of judges*. Carolyn Helbling, Managing Director of the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce said: “SkyWork Airlines deserves particular commendation for its role in linking both the capitals and the regions of Switzerland and the UK. They connect people, places and businesses. During their relatively short existence, they have made each country far more accessible to the other and now transport some 30,000 passengers between our markets each year.”

In accepting the Award, Tomislav Lang, SkyWork Airlines CEO said: “We are very proud to have won this Award which represents the combined efforts of the entire SkyWork team. It is particularly gratifying to have our achievements acknowledged by the distinguished panel and the BSCC and we look forward to continued success as the company grows”.

Over 150 business leaders and guests gathered for the Awards, hosted by Michael Rodd, journalist and former presenter of BBC’s “Tomorrow’s World” programme.

London City to Bern now three times each weekday

At the end of October SkyWork increased its frequency to three times daily (Monday to Friday) on the popular London City to Bern route with a new departure at 12:40 from Bern and 13:55 from London, complementing its morning and evening flights.
