Wednesday 8 (approx. 18:30) - Thursday 9 July (21:30): Proposed strike action is likely to cause severe disruption on London Underground services. Docklands Light Railway (DLR) services will not be affected and London City Airport station will be open. London Overground and TfL rail services are also set to run as per usual but are likely to be busier than normal. Community Food Enterprise (CFE) is a social enterprise food business which is rooted in the London Borough of Newham and was founded in 2002 by members of the local community. CFS is a sustainable community food enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities for members of the community while supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to local people at a realistic price to encourage them to eat the right food.
London City Airport engages Community Food Enterprise as a local supplier to deliver fresh fruit to all Airport staff every week, encouraging our very local staff base to eat healthily, while providing custom to a local supplier.
