Three major airports carry Milan’s travel and business visitors to and from the city, though Malpensa International Airport is the closest and most frequently travelled, connected to Milan by shuttle buses and trains. Inside the city, Milan’s public transit includes far-reaching bus routes, an extensive metro with plans for further expansion, tramways and regional rail services. Hop on a distinctive orange bus or trolley, or pick up a private taxi, available at stands throughout the city, as well as hired shuttles for daytime and late-night service.
