Situated within the Venetian Lagoon, the city of Venice is world-famous for its waterways, the main form of transportation here. Marvel at the city’s system of bridges, from the Rialto to the Bridge of Sighs, spanning the waters for hundreds of years. Reach the city by nearby Marco Polo International Airport, or fly into Milan or Rome and travel by train to one of the city’s two main railroad stations. Once there, just wandering the open squares and canals is all part of the city’s charm!
