British Airways has chosen London City Airport as the second airport worldwide to provide its passengers with their latest revolutionary self-bag tagging system, which began on 21 March 2012.

BA passengers travelling from London City to the UK and Europe can now print and attach tags to their own bags at a self-service kiosk and deposit them at a bag drop desk. The new process, combined with the option to check-in on line and print boarding passes at home or the office, will ease congestion on the Airport concourse, particularly at peak times.

Passengers can literally progress from kerbside to airside, even with checked-in bags, in just 20 minutes. British Airways new innovative self-tagging system has been implemented and designed to offer passengers a quick, smooth and stress-free travel experience.
