On 26 March, Alitalia introduced their new E190 aircraft on services from London City Airport to and from Milan Linate. The new two by two configuration, offers 100 seats with two classes: Ottima (Business class) and Classica (Economy class).

Alitalia operates two daily flights between London City Airport and Milan Linate, Monday to Friday and one flight on Sunday. Alitalia are planning to increase their two-a-day service to three to accommodate the growing demand for the route.
