British Airways set to grow at London City Airport
British Airways is strengthening its position as the largest airline at London City Airport adding more aircraft, new routes and extra frequencies.
With the introduction of Rotterdam and Florence on 30 March 2014 the airline will be serving 26 international, European and UK destinations from London airport. Services to Rotterdam will operate five times per day and four times a week to Florence.
From May an additional two new Embraer 190 aircraft join the airlines current fleet of 17 with third due on the 30 March 2014, replacing the current Saab turboprop on the airlines Dusseldorf route.
British Airways will also introduce extra services to Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Zurich from March, providing passengers with additional choice and flexibility.
The introduction of the new routes and additional frequencies are in response to the growth British Airways has seen a in both the business and leisure markets from London City Airport.
